Lift Audit Services
Keep your Lifts Safe and Operational with regular audits
At Rise Compliance, we work closely with facilities & estate management teams to carry out regular lift audits in public and private healthcare buildings. We’ve worked alongside the NHS for several years, as well as private facilities and care homes, to provide safe and efficient lift consultancy and training services.
What is a lift audit?
Regular audits are required to ensure a lift is fully compliant within industry standards, and also to maintain maximum safety for all users.
A lift audit is carried out by a qualified lift auditor and it involves several tests to make sure the lift is well-maintained and repaired between audits. The results of the audit may highlight some recommended maintenance or repairs that your lift engineer can carry out at a time that suits you.
We typically ask the ‘lift owner’, sometimes known as the ‘appointed person’, to oversee the audit.
The auditor will confirm this person has met the needs with regards to paperwork, monitor lift repairs and autodialler monitoring checks, etc.
A lift audit ensures that the equipment is in full compliance with the standards, that it’s being fully maintained and repaired correctly.
We’re also qualified to carry out LOLER Thorough Examinations when required at the lift installation and at set intervals throughout the lifespan of the elevator.
